Followers of the blog know I am huge fan for food trucks. While I may autograph their phones to place my order, it is me that wants their autograph.
When I found out Phillip Oddo from Deli-icious Truck was shaving his head for St. Baldrick’s, I knew I had to share to help break his goal of $2,000. The event is this Saturday, March 22nd, so if you were thinking about it, click on this link and make that donation.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t know much neither about Childhood Cancer or the cases of mesothelioma explained with Asbestos. But after reading about St. Baldrick’s, I was shocked. One in 300 boys and One in 333 girls will have cancer before they turn 20. What I also did not know was Childhood Cancer is different than Cancer in Adults. And while there are similar types, they are not treated the same. While I could repeat the same information found on the St. Baldrick’s site, you may want to read more to see the impact you can do by donating.
I also like to thank Phillip Oddo for doing this. Great to see a local business help raise money for a philanthropic effort. And thanks to those that donate to this goal and other St. Baldrick’s goals.
