April 12: Burke Street Food Truck Festival

Nice Triad Rodeo with a few Triangle and Queen City trucks!

Burke Street Food Truck Festival

On Saturday April 12th, a Burke Street Food Truck Festival is taking place from 4-8pm.  This is their third with two successful ones in the Spring and Fall last year.

The address given is 1131 Burke Street, which is near Business I-40 (just west of US 52) around exit 4B.  The line-up looks awesome, which you can find latest information on their Facebook page.

Trucks announced and city based:

Baguettaboutit – Durham
Bandito Burrito Truck – Greensboro
Camel City Grill – Winston-Salem
D’s Cakes In A Cup & More, LLC – Concord
The Great Escape Catering Co. – Greensboro (voted Triad’s Best Food Truck, YES! Weekly)
Hibachi Xpress – Cary
The Ice Queen – Greensboro
King Creole – Burlington
Mike & Mike’s Italian Ices – Winston-Salem
Taqueria El Azteca – Greensboro
Truckin’ with Tipsy’z – High Point
I Love Stameys Barbecue – Greensboro (looks like a restaurant truck)
Swirly’s Smoothies – Winston-Salem
Urban street grill – Reidsville
Wright Up Ur Galley – Greensboro

I might make a trip out to this one from Raleigh, since it will be good reconissance mission for the Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeos.  Some of these trucks were at last year’s rodeo (Urban Street Grill had one of the longest I’ve seen at the first one).  I would bring cash, since I believe one does not accept Square or Credit Cards.

As you may noticed, I’m excited that Food Truck festivals, rodeos, round-ups, etc. are starting to pickup!

Keep Wandering,
