Collectively, this might be the biggest food truck weekend over a course of three days.
Friday
RTP Rodeo
Guess who’s back, tell a friend… That’s right RTPers last Friday was a rare hiatus for the weekly rodeos. I have not attend one of these, but I heard these are great. If you want more information, see The RTP’s blog. Past visitors please note the site has moved to 800 Park Offices Drive.
Wake Forest Elementary 2nd Annual Spring Fling
If October seems like a far away time for the next State Fair, you may be able to cross two things off your list Friday. In Wake Forest, food truck and fair fans get together for the 2nd Annual Spring Fling. The food truck roster looks very enticing and worthy of a visit to Wake Forest. The event is Friday from 5:30-8:3pm.
Art of Cool Fest – Food Truck Rodeo
If you are near Durham Central Park, check out performances by Peter Lamb & The Wolves, Kidznotes Jazz Ensemble, NCCU Combo, Yolanda Rabun, and Mel Melton & the Wicked Mojos as part of the Art of Cool Fest Kick-Off Party. Also there will be a Food Truck Rodeo. The event is Friday from 4-8pm.
Trucks listed: Pie Pushers, Sympathy For The Deli, Gussy’s Greek Street Food, Chick-N-Que, Sarge’s Chef, Only Burger, Chirba Chirba, Virgil’s Jamaican, Kona Chameleon, Chez Moi, The Parlour, and Locopops.
Saturday
Brewgaloo
What feels like the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff for what looks like an exciting Food Truck Season, Brewgaloo is finally here. Local Breweries, Food Trucks and local bands will all come together. This will be my first Brewgaloo and I’ve been assured this is a must event. If you plan on drink beer at the event, you can pre-purchase tokens on the Brewgaloo site.
Trucks will serve at 1pm, while Brewgaloo is from 2-10pm. Arrive Early!
Also, don’t be afraid to try our new trucks: Sol Tacos, Dump Pho King Truck and Belgian Waffology will all be there. Highly recommend them!

This is located in City Plaza (Fayetteville Street), Downtown Raleigh
Sunday
Cary Creative Center: Raise the Roof Campaign Food Truck Rodeo
With great weather forecasted this weekend, it is a great weekend to visit food trucks. Cary Creative Center is organizing a rodeo with Sol Tacos, Philly’s Cheesesteaks, and Sarge’s Chef. The rodeo is from 11am – 3pm this Sunday. Thank you Terry’s Floor Fashions for sponsoring. Cary Creative Center is located 155 Wilkinson Ave, Cary.

Ornamentea Pop-up Sunday
Every 4th Sunday Ornamentea organizes a pop up market. I like how this brings everything together with local crafts, local food trucks, local beer, and a charitable organization. The SPCA of Wake County is this month’s charity, Aviator Brew is what’s on tap, and Chick-N-Que and D’Burritos will be there to serve up hungry shoppers. This Sunday from 12-5pm. Ornamentea is located 509 N. West Street, Raleigh.
