For the 9 to 5er, Thursday is the tail end of the work week and the beginning of the weekend. Time for some weekend Food Truck events.
Hercules and Gussy’s Greek
Lay the Smackdown on your appetite with this Colossal meal, The Hercules Hero Meal. The meal includes a gyro, chicken breast, falafel, small Greek salad, two Mediterranen pitas, and choice of sauce. Those brave will be rewarded with a chance to win a hero-sized prize pack. Their lunch location today is 3300 Benson Drive, which is behind the Hyatt Place Raleigh-North and the Hilton Midtown. Gussy’s food is always on point, now we all have a bigger incentive.
Science of Attraction
Durham’s Museum of Life and Sciences is open after hours for a 21+ event with a DJ, Food Trucks (KoKyu BBQ and Pie Pushers), and adult beverages. Check their site for more details.

One last thought…
Another event that you may be interest in, or supporting, is the Cary Creative Center’s Raise the Roof Campaign. They are doing their Bohemian Bash today. The Center has organized two rodeos in Cary, before the Chatham Street Chowdown was a huge hit. Information on their event is here, which will also provide information on their mission and what they do.
If you got a food truck event, let me know and I’ll be glad to the weekend posts.
Also, be sure to vote on your favorite food truck this month!
