Knightdale Community Day

Cancelled due to Friday’s forecast of inclement weather on Saturday…

A bunch of events at Knightdale Station revolving around the Knightdale area.  Food trucks Chick-N-Que, Jay’s Italian Ice, Ladybugs Treats, MaMa Dukes, Sōl Tacos, Barone Meatball, Virgil’s Jamaican, Kona Ice, and 101 Catering will be here.  The event goes on from 11:30 to 7pm.

Beak Week: Goldsboro’s Poultry Festival

There is a food truck rodeo going on, the first for Goldsboro, where Gussy’s will be at.  There will be two music stages, activities for the family, and other great fun.  For more details on the festival, see the website.

Retro Run 5K

Sometimes I come across events in the Triad, which also feature Triangle trucks. It looks like there is a evening 5K race this Saturday at 5:3opm with a mini-rodeo afterwards.  Since the event is this weekend, the race fee is $35 which gets you a T-Shirt, 2 beers, a food truck tapas coupon. There are other packages to race with more tickets or no race. If you want more details on the race, check out http://retrorun5k.com.  The food truck rodeo has its own Facebook Page, which I found KocinA, Ice Queen, and King Creole.
