It’s the Fourth Sunday and that means Pop Up Sunday at Ornamentea (508 N. West Street, Raleigh).  This market has lots of different artisans that put Raleigh on the map in a Women’s Health article for their Best Up and Coming Cities for Arts and Culture.  The event is Sunday 12 to 5pm.

The Kernersville Food Truck Festival at Brewer’s Kettle (308 E Mountain St, Kernersville) on Saturdayfrom 3-9pm will highlight a lot of Triad-area food trucks.  Thanks to this week’s Behind The Wheel: Wright Up Ur Galley for giving informing me.

Thanks to the Triangle Explorer (see his post on the event) for pointing me to the Pittsboro Street Fair.  The event is Saturday from 1o am to 5pm with live music and food trucks.  Food Trucks and food vendors avialable are MaMa Duke’s, Chai’s Global Street Food, Citizen Yogurt & Pops, Dawg Wago, Little Dipper’s Italian Ice, and Grand Slam Concessions.  The event is in Downtown Pittsboro.

Like trains and food trucks?  Give the Track or Treat a look, which is Triangle’s only Halloween Train.  The railways is not far from Cary and Apex on US 1 and not only you can ride the train, you can walk around a train graveyard.  The train museum and ride is at New Hope Valley Railway (3900 Bonsal Road, New Hill).  Buy tickets now as already two scheduled trains are sold out (and the third 6:15pm is close to a sell out!)  MANNA will be there serving food.

Plantation Point Farmers Market is having a Halloween Fun event with Trick or Treating in the market, free mini pumpkin decorating, hayrides, and other Halloween activities.  Tailgater Toby will be there making sure no leaves hungry.  The market operates Saturdays from 9am to 2pm.

SoomSoom Pita Pockets is having their opening party at Surf Club this Saturday from 5 to 1opm.  They have been a few locations, but this seems to be the one to kick things off.  I am very interested in this truck as the truck will have traditional American and Middle Eastern flavors.  The chef also is from Tel Aviv and has cooked there and recently Durham (Nana’s and the Piedmont).

Don’t forget food truck do park at local breweries.  Check out the Thursty’s post for a list of what trucks are where.
