Here are some food trucks events going on this weekend.
Durham Central Park Rodeo
First choice has to be the last Durham rodeo for the year. Located at Durham Central Park, this rodeo intimate with grass to lay a picnic blanket and lawn chairs while listening to live music. The event goes on from 12-4pm this Sunday.
Day in Downtown Fuquay-Varina
If you are looking for something to do Saturday, Fuquay-Varina will have 15 food trucks for the weekend. Based on what I could find, BulKogi, Stuft, Halal Bros, Sol Tacos, and Bull City Street Food will be there. The event is going on from 10:00 am to 4:00pm. The event is in the retail district of Fuquay-Varina, so point your GPS to the town and you are on your way. More information
Guy Fawkes Night
Learned some history of who Guy Fawkes was. This event commemorates the failed attempt by Guy Fawkes to assassinate King James I. After reading about it, I still don’t get why the man’s face is everywhere. But I guess, I can understand the bonfire. The event has musical performances, Fortnight Brewing, and both Pie Pushers and Chirba Chirba are serving up food. The event takes place on Fayetteville Street in Downtown Raleigh and goes on from 5 to 11 PM. More Information
2014 Raleigh Brew Fest
This event, as the title implies, is a beer fest located in North Raleigh. The event is ticketed, but it benefits the NC Therapeutic Riding Center. From what I found, Dump Pho King will be there. For tickets and more information on the event, check out Raleigh Beer Guys’ website.
Of course, you can check out the Thursty’s post for a list of what trucks are where.
