Granville Ambulance Chase and Food Truck Rodeo

Every year the Granville Health System Foundation organizes a 5K and 10K Ambulance Chase, 5K Fun Run, 100 yard dash, and 1 Mile Family Walk in Oxford.  This year Baguettaboutit, Big John’s, Dawg Commander, JAM Ice Cream, and Taco Grande will be there from 4 to 7 PM. If you are interested, you can register at Stovall’s Gifts, 100 Main Street in Oxford on Race Day (Saturday, March 21st).

919 Beer’s St. Baldrick’s Event

Also on Saturday, 919 Beer hosts their annual St. Baldrick’s event.  This year Adam Eshbaugh is having his head shaved for the cause.  His goal was $1,000 (which has been reached), but let’s keep donating for a good cause.  You can do so by going to his donation site.  We can all witness this at Aviator Brewing, 209 Technology Park Lane in Fuquay-Varina.  On site will be American Meltdown, serving up their award-winning melts.

The event will take place Saturday, March 21st from 12 to 5pm.

Jake and the Comet Conductors Concert at Grove Winery

The event takes place Friday at 6pm in Gibsonville (just north of Burlington). Will & Pop’s will be there with their new truck.  Tickets are $10 and more details can be found at the event’s Facebook Page.

A Gluten Free night at Bull City Ciderworks

If you didn’t know, Bull City Cider is naturally gluten free.  On Saturday evening (4 to 8pm), Bang Bang Banh Mi will bring their Gluten Free Vietnamese cuisine.  The event is part of a meet up group, Gluten Free in The Triangle.  More details and to RSVP can be found here.

Cupcake Cocktail Hour

If you are looking for something tonight, check out Cupcake Cocktail Hour at the Sweet Traditions Bakery in Wake Forest.  Bring your own bottle of wine, while Sweet Traditions will have cupcakes.  Normally the bakery is closed in the evenings.  But this gives sweetness warriors a sweet time to relax.  The event takes place on the Third Thursday from 7 to 9pm.  If you are a brewery, I know Sweet Traditions is looking to partner with one for these events, too.
