What am I looking forward to this weekend? Check out some of the events going on.
One quick reminder, have you bought your VIP wristbands, yet for Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo? This Saturday is the last day. Which leads me to talk about…
Brewgaloo
This is one event I look forward each year. Organized locally by Shop Local Raleigh, it showcases local NC beers during their month (April is NC Beer month) and local food trucks. The event takes places Downtown Raleigh from 2 to 1o pm on Saturday. For more details, check out my post dedicated to this year’s event.
Art of Cool
Another great event taking place in Downtown Durham highlighting Jazz music, it’s the Art of Cool. Events take place all over with some in Durham Central Park. For details on musical acts and events, check their website. I know SoomSoom Pita Pockets will be there.

Hanu Truck at Sub Noir
I really like the work that Chef Patrick does and Sub Noir makes the most unique beers in the Triangle. One that I really enjoyed was Zee Count, which uses the popular Count Chocula in the recipe. Hanu Truck brings the West Coast style of Korean and Asian flavors found there. The front photo was a Notorious P.I.G. banh mi.

Pop-Up Sunday
Located at Ornamentea in Raleigh (509 N. West Street), this market highlights local artisans and crafts. It is the first one of 2015 and usually features one local brewery and one charity a month. This month Manna and Jay’s Italian Ice will be here.
Lunch anyone?
Also, for lunch Thursday you may want to wander to Knightdale for Stuft, the Forum (Six Forks and The Fourm) will have its Thursday Food Truck Rodeo, and Deli-icious will be at 3100 Smoketree, Big CWaffles will be at 3101 Wake Forest Road.
If you have an event this weekend with food trucks, feel free to comment below. Non-food truck events will be removed.
