Two Triangle fan favorites are up against some tough nationwide competition.

Only Burger creates Breakfast Burger for Thomas’ Breakfast Battle

Only Burger is one of 50 food trucks in the United States are competing for the best breakfast.  Only Burger, who operates one of the first modern food trucks in the Triangle and two Durham locations, took their fan favorite Fried Green Tomato Burger into an early riser version.  In the breakfast version, you will find A Piedmontese beef patty on a butter toasted “Thomas English Muffin” slathered with our housemade Pimento Cheese, a fried green tomato, a local “Lattas” farm fresh egg and some local thick cut Bacon.

I am fan of the Fried Green Tomato burger, which makes my mouth water to try this version, too.  You can try the English Muffin version at any of the restaurants or you can catch the truck at Lonerider Brewery on Sunday from 3-6pm.
