Okay the part-crazy is setting in… can I drive 10 hours one-way for a Food Truck Festival?
In my younger days (like yesterday?), I would have done this without a thought. Load up the car with CDs, a full tank of gas, and youthful optimism. I am not sure if I am going to do this, but if the stars and gravity align – maybe I’ll rub elbows with food trucks from Florida north to Rochester. I noticed Raleigh’s own Hibachi Xpress on the line-up!
On March 28th and 29th, the people of Generation Food Truck and the Florida State Fair Authority are organizing a food truck parade and festival to break the “Largest Food Truck Parade” record. The festival will go on 12pm through 8pm on Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday.
Entertainment
In addition to the trucks there will be entertainment like bounce houses, petting zoon, and bands. The musical line-up includes:
Saturday:
3-D BURN 1–1:45 p.m., DRASTIC FALL 2–2:45 p.m., RED CALLING 3–3:45 p.m., JACK MANTRA 4–4:45 p.m.,
