Full Frame Outdoor Screening Catered by Food Trucks (April 5th)

Local Film. Local Trucks. Sounds like a great idea!

Full Frame Screening

During Full Frame, a documentary film festival in Durham, a group of The Cookery food trucks will provide food during Durham Central Park’s screening.  I went to Full Frame last year and a had a great time.  Coincidentally, this year’s outdoor screening for this event is the film I saw, If You Build It.

"If You Build It" A documentary based on a design program, Studio H, organized in Bertie County, North Carolina.

The film follows a class from a design program, Studio H, that was organized in Bertie County in North Caroliona.  You follow the students for a year, where you find they not only learn about building, but also a little bit about themselves.  The film was very moving and after that screening we got to hear from the two teachers featured, the students, and production staff.  I did also meet a couple of the students afterwards and they were really nice and told me how they were doing.  If you can make it to this event, please do so.  While you are there you will also enjoy great food from our local trucks.

Also, while you are outside you can also enjoy local food trucks.  With a film set in North Carolina and local food, it really is a local experience.  Enjoy the film and enjoy the trucks!
