Are you looking for Food Trucks in the Triangle? Here’s a few gatherings.
LOCAL
Full Frame
Catch Iced Cupcakes, The Parlour, Pie Pushers, Sympathy for the Deli, Triangle Raw Foods, and CJ’s Street Food serving up their delicious food while watching an outdoor Screening of the local documentary, If You Build It.

Beer Fest
This is a ticketed event, so you’ll want to check for availability. If you partake in the festival, the following trucks will be there: Baugettaboutit, Chirba Chirba Dumpling, Only Burger, American Meltdown, Mac-UR-Roni, and Virgil’s Jamaican. In addition, VIPs can try a traveling dinner with a favorite here: KoKyu BBQ.
Dump Pho King Truck: Launch Party
Another ticketed event at Noir in Glenwood South, Raleigh. The truck had a Kickstarter and a few taste events, but Saturday evening is the big reveal. Tickets are $20 and can be booked at their Eventbrite site.
First Sunday in Pittsboro
Looking at the calendar it looks like this Sunday is the first one for the month. I plan on being here, because I heard it was a great event. Also, I have been waking up nightly yelling “Phoenix Bakery“ and my stomach grumbling. The trucks mentioned were Capps Apizza, Olde North State BBQ, Little Dippers, Triple J Homemade Ice Cream. I believe I have had Olde North State before, but I am looking forward to trying Capps Apizza. For more info, see the Convention and Vistors Bureau site.
Around the Corner
This event won’t be on the next Weekend post, so I wanted to highlight it. April 9th is Carrboro Farmers Market Opening Day for Wednesday hours. The day will start with samplings from Chef Vimala Rajendran of Vimala’s Curryblossom Cafe and from 6pm to 8:45pm Baguettaboutit, Foster’s on the Fly, La Cocina, Tarheel Creamery, Triangle Raw Foods, Steel String Brewery, Gussy’s Greek Street Food.

Can’t make it this weekend? Check out the our new Food Trucks Page on the blog. I’m tracking rodeos/festivals/round-ups/gatherings – whatever they want to call them – and listing them. If you find one and want credit (your option), feel free to CC me via a Twitter (or DM), or comment on my Facebook. My email is art at the blog’s domain, if you need to send more info.
Great stuff. Amazing how many food truck events are going on. Just saw a tweet about a mini-roundup in Oval Park in Durham. I’m not sure but it may be a weekly thing during the warmer months. Looks like a fun event!
Looks like oval park is a regular first Thursday event! Nice cqtxh
