Breakfast Rodeo

If you are reading this, you are missing out on a unique event.  A weekday, morning breakfast rodeo.  Caffe Bellezza, Wicked Biscuit, and Belgian Waffology are the trucks and all are delicious in my book.  The Location is the Downtown Durham BB&T location at 505 S. Duke Street.  The event is on until 10 am today.

Sir Walter Miler Food Truck Rodeo at Raleigh Brewing

For what looks to be a warm-up for later runs in the season, the Sir Walter Miler happens today.  Raleigh Brewing will have a pre and post party, as well as, a mini-rodeo.   The three trucks parked: Big John’s Wings and Things, Hanu, and Not Just Icing. You won’t catch me running maybe sprinting to beat the lines.

Slingshot Coffee Party 

Slingshot Coffee, locally brewed coffee (did I get this right, Triangle Explorer?) opened a new headquarters and are celebrating.  They were asking for RSVPs earlier, so hopefully you can get in still or possibly this is a reminder if you did RSVP.  I enjoy iced coffee and enjoy Slingshot.  Ironically, the last time I was at the old headquarters, The Parlour was there, too.

Food Truck Lineup: Carolina Corn Roasters, The Great Escape (award-winning truck in the Triad), Truckin’ With Tipsy’z, My Dream Cakes, The Ice Queen, Hickory Tree BBQ, Baguettaboutit, Taqueria el Azteca, King Creole, and Bo’s Kitchen.  Also, Al Neese Jazz Band will perform during the event.
