Want to rollout with one last food truck event… check out my pick.
Events going on today seem to revolve around physical activity and food trucks.
Each year, the Bull City Race has a mile, 5 mile, and half marathon race that is followed by a food truck rodeo. While registration has closed for the race, you can cheer on racers and enjoy food by Belgian Waffology, Triangle Raw Foods, and Loco Pops. The race helps bring awareness and funds for Habitat For Humanity in Durham. www.bullcityracefest.com
My Pick
Saw this on the bulletin board the other day. It is a bike ride on the Neuse River Greenway followed by a food trucks Deli-icious, Only Burger, and Ladybug’s Treats and live music. The event raises funds for Alliance Medical Ministry, a faith-based non-profit serving uninsured needing medical assistance. The food trucks, live music, and beer are at 101 Donald Ross Drive, Raleigh.
If you are interested in the ride, you can register at the Eventbrite site
As always, I’ve located food trucks at some of the local breweries in my “Thursty’s” post.
