Flora & Food Trucks is back!

This week kicks off the popular food truck series at Fairview Garden Center, a local, family-owned garden center. The past years had a few events with a good amount trucks.  This year more dates and less trucks.  Leading off are two fan favorites Chirba Chirba and Sweet Traditions.

Mebane Tanger Outlets Food Truck Rodeo

Usually a combination of Triangle and Triad food trucks attend this rodeo at the Tanger Outlets in Mebane.  So far I have seen Belgian Waffology and Thai Box Zing (new food truck in the Triangle) mention they will be there.  The outlets are located on I-85/I-40 off Exit 154.

Tour De Brew

This two day event includes an 80’s theme Preview Party by Yelp (hurry, you must RSVP by Noon Thursday!) and Big Boss, Crank Arm, Natty Greene’s, Nickelpoint, Raleigh Brewing, and Trophy.  Routes on Tour De Brew’s website includes routes for running and cycling between the locations.  The event is to help promote awareness for clean water where others walk for unsanitary water.  If you are interested, here are breweries with food trucks schedule.  In case you wondered, Nickelpoint is 1.3 miles from Big Boss.

Nickelpoint: CockADoodle Moo

Big Boss: Taco Grande

Raleigh Brewing: Mac-UR-Roni
