June Events with Food Trucks

This week on WRAL Out and About I mentioned some of the larger food truck festivals (called rodeos) going on.  Here are a few more events involving food trucks.

11th Annual Beaver Queen Pageant, June 6th – Triangle Explorer has posted about this event over the years and wrote a great event synopsis for this year’s event.  This event will have Locopops, Only Burger, Pie Pushers,The Parlour, and Sympathy for the Deli.

Sub Noir’s 2nd Anniversary, June 13th – It has been an exciting year at Sub Noir.  The taproom expanded to more space downstairs and an upstairs.  Also, they have opened up a special beer club where members get a growler and special bottle releases, Samizdat.  Food trucks here will be: AmgioSan, Not Just Icing, and Porchetta.

Spring Fling at Village Lanes, June 20th –  Check out the post with poster about this event. This event will have live music, food trucks, and a craft market.  Food trucks: Arepa Culture, Big Island Shaved Ice, and Urban Entrees will be here.

The Raleigh Little Theatre: MacBeth production, June 19-28 – Performed in the outside Stephenson Amphitheatre guests can enjoy a great theatrical performance and food trucks.  Food trucks: Bam Pow Chow, Bo’s Kitchen, Captain Ponchos, Chick-N-Que, Heavenly Smoked, The Humble Pig, and Sarge’s will be there.  Red Eye BBQ will be there during rain delay events.

Commune Day Festival & Picnic at Elodie Farms,  June 27th.  An event that’s demonstrating how things around us are interconnected.  Through that the event organizers have Arepa Culture, The Parlour, and SoomSoom Pita Pockets sourcing local farm into what they will sell that day. In addition local businesses that support this local concept will be there.  Full details on the event can be found on their Facebook event page and updates can be found .
