This Friday, May 16th come out to support REGED’s Relay For Life Team
Last week, in my Weekend Food Truck events I asked for help in finding Food Truck events especially those associated with charitable organizations. Thanks to Triangle Localista for point me over to an Instagram post by Jenny.
Jenny is captain for RegEd’s Relay for Life team in the Brier Creek/Leesville/RTP area. The company has had a team for 3 years raising $20,000 in the first two years. This year their goal is to surpass $12,000, which was last year’s goal. This cause is close to Jenny as she has survived cancer and luckily did not have a cancer that would have metastasize. But she still battles the health issues from that tumor today. If you want to read more of her story, please feel free to read more here.
On this Friday Chick-N-Que, Gussy’s Greek Truck, Lady Bug’s Treats and Stuft will be at 2100 Gateway Centre Blvd in Morrisville where part of the proceeds will go to Relay For Life. In addition, there will be games where all the proceeds will go to Relay For Life. If Friday is a Lazy Friday, make your way out here for some food, games, and a good cause.
