Breakfast Rodeo

If you are reading this, you are missing out on a unique event.  A weekday, morning breakfast rodeo.  Caffe Bellezza, Wicked Biscuit and Belgian Waffology are the trucks and all are delicious in my book.  The Location is the Downtown Durham BB&T location at 505 S. Duke Street.  The event is on until 10 am today.

NC Gay and Lesbian Film Festival

The NCGLFF kicks off today at the Carolina Theatre, which is a 10-day (goes on today until August 24th).  Tonight, Manna and Baguettaboutit will be out there feeding hungry theater goers.  If you are interested in the movie schedule, check it out at their site.

Third Friday in Durham

The Third Friday is a big deal for the Art community and Golden Belt Arts is involved with the activities.  For more information on what they are doing tonight, see their site.  Pie Pushers will be pushing hot pizza pies if you make it out there.

Justin McRoberts Concert

At the Christ The King in Durham, there’s a Justin McRoberts Concert.  Tickets are $5 and American Meltdown and Not Just Icing will be there serving food.

NC State Move-in

Wolfpack students moving today can take a break and eat from Tailgater Toby’s today.  They will be out there selling Toby Dogs, KC-style BBQ, and I hope my favorite (and Rhonda’s creation) Toby Burger (Pulled Pork, Cheese, and Jalapeños on a burger).  If you miss them during the day, catch them down in Holly Springs where they’ll be selling food and giving back part of it to the football team.
