Burke Street Festival 2015 – April 11th

A premier event in Winston-Salem that is a must.

Last year, I made a visit out here.  I arrived late after attending an Charlotte Food Fight (yes, I drove Raleigh to Charlotte to Winston-Salem toRaleigh in one day).  By the time I showed up, some of the Triad popular food trucks were sold out.    As you can see Camel City looked like a Darts scoreboard with X’s closing out menu items.  I was in line for Wright UP UR Galley, where I was told by someone in line they were the last to be served!

This good news!  This year the roster has increased from 15 to 31 extending food trucks from the Triangle and Charlotte markets.  I still recommend this event, because Burke Street is closed off for pedestrian traffic and have an area for kids.  Also, most of the Burke Street businesses have tables outside to sit down, relax, and enjoy beverages.
