Odds and Ends

  • Be sure to check out Hanu at Sub Noir (2039 Progress Court, not far from Wake Forest and Whitaker Mill) this Friday night.

Events outside the Triangle

Burke Street Food Truck Festival

Burke Street-2014-1

I highlighted this today, but if you missed it here are the details.  Over 30 trucks will be on Burke Street in Winston-Salem with food trucks from the Triangle and the Queen City.

NC Food Rodeo at Grove Winery

On the second Sunday of every month, Grove Winery in Gibsonville (north of Burlington) hosts a food truck rodeo.  The event is worth a trip with tastings by the local winery (they have a wide variety of grapes), Natty Greene’s on tap, local entertainment, and local food trucks from both the Triad and Triangle.  Listed are: Thai Box Zing, Urban Street Grill, Fish N Wings, High Rock Farms, The Bustling Boutique, and Pelican’s Snoballs.  Also music from Chapel Hill’s The Necks.
