For the past couple weeks, I had a poll attached to my weekly weekend event post. I wanted to get an idea of what is your favorite food truck. In order to get the current poll setup, we started with the finalists from the 2014 Indy Week’s Favorite Food Truck results. Each week I took the unique answers and included them in the subsequent polls. Which brings us to this one.
Why am I doing this? Because I am curious which food truck people favor and I like metrics. So I wanted to see the numbers. So feel free to vote for your favorite. If we missed your favorite in the list below, feel free to fill-in your favorite.
Another weekend… time to hit some food trucks.
This Saturday, June 28th – Big Mike’s BBQ is cooking up a dinner where a portion of the proceeds will go to the No Kid Hungry charity.

This week’s highlight… Cary’s first Rodeo!
This the Second Part of an undetermined number of parts of pictures from the Durham Central Park Rodeo on June 15th. If missed Part 1, click on this link. The first part had pictures of Caffe Bellezza, Not Just Icing, Stuft, Tailgater Toby, Triangle Raw Foods, and Virgil’s Jamaican.
We are deep into the season and Durham kicked off another one in its series in Downtown Durham’s Central Park. I have to go back to the Triangle Food Truck Historical Society (an idea of mine, but just funding has been tight) to confirm that these Durham rodeos were the birthplace of the rodeo. With that in mind, it is no surprise as these are very well run, entertaining with live music, and plenty of green space to kick soccer balls, lay down a blanket or chairs.
For those of you that went, check out some reminders of an awesome time. For those that missed it, feel free to catch some of the highlights. I got a new lens for my camera. As a result, gadgets and me is like a kid with a new toy. We will have Part 1 today with undetermined amount of parts later. If you are interested in the next rodeo: August 31st is the next date.
